Al Salaam Academy is an Islamic College Preparatory High School

Welcome to Al Salaam Academy, an innovative and unique high school that combines traditional Islamic Sciences with Western Academia. We believe that the current education system in the US falls short in serving the next generation of Muslims, leaving them without a strong foundation in their faith and the skills necessary to succeed in their personal and professional lives.

At Al Salaam Academy, we recognize the importance of merging Islamic values with a strong academic curriculum. Our goal is to provide our students with the tools necessary to become leaders in their communities and excel in their chosen fields, while remaining true to their faith and moral values.

Our team of Muslim Scholars and Western Academics work hand in hand to provide our students with a comprehensive education that includes both the sacred sciences and liberal arts. We are not a politically left or right leaning community, but rather we are Prophetic Moralists who base our worldview on the Qur'an and Sunnah.

We believe that education is not just about gaining knowledge, but about internalizing the values and principles of Islam. At Al Salaam Academy, our students will not only gain a deep understanding of Allah's message in the Quran and the teachings of his messengers, peace be upon them all, but they will also learn to embody these values in their everyday lives.

We are excited to be the first College Preparatory Islamic High School in Ellicott City that is dedicated to providing a unique and transformative educational experience. Join us in our mission to equip the next generation of Muslims in America with the tools necessary to serve their community and fulfill their potential.
