Al Salaam Academy | VAST Academy
Grades 6–8 Learning Center
The AL SALAAM Academy | VAST Academy Learning Center is designed for homeschooled and online learners who benefit from a structured academic environment, teacher supervision, accountability, and educational support while completing their own curriculum.
Students remain enrolled with their selected homeschool or virtual education provider while attending the Learning Center. Teachers supervise students, assist academically, monitor progress, and provide Qur'an and Islamic Studies for Full-Time students.
Note: The Learning Center does not provide curriculum, textbooks, report cards, transcripts, or diplomas.

The Learning Center provides structured learning, supervision, educational guidance, accountability, and academic support.
Policies & Payment Options
Learning Center Policies
- Attendance and punctuality are expected.
- Parents are responsible for student drop-off and pick-up.
- Students should bring their own lunch and snacks.
- Curriculum is provided by the student's homeschool provider.
- Teachers provide supervision and educational support but do not replace the homeschool curriculum.
Payment Information
- Tuition is payable annually or quarterly.
- Monthly plans are not offered as a standard option.
- Families requiring customized payment arrangements should contact Administration.
- Customized payment plans require administrative approval.

Is this High School for Boys or Girls?
We accommodate both boys and girls at ASA while ensuring they are separated with limited and supervised contact, and they are taught to interact in accordance with Islamic teachings.

What kind of curriculum is used at ASA?
We utilize an accredited high school curriculum following Howard County with an incorporated Islamic Studies and Qur'anic Sciences curriculum. Students learn Arabic as well as complete one reading of the Qur'an with translation for accreditation. In addition, students learn Islamic studies from certified scholars and are mentored in the prophetic way of living.
